The 2025 Future Natural Resource Leaders (FNRL) State Convention Skills Contest will be held at the Pacific Northwest Logging Museum at Powerland Heritage Park on April 19th.
Show your support of Oregon high school students who are participating in a student leadership association dedicated to personal growth and career success in natural resources by attending their annual State Convention Skills Contest. Open to the Public!

S.T.E.A.M.'d Up for Kids is a playful and engaging twist on our award-winning annual Great Oregon Steam-Up event. Tailored specifically for our younger explorers, some might say it's even more fun! This unique family event offers an array of exciting activities. From miniature train rides and a scavenger hunt, to hands-on craft building and a Steam Traction Engine transporting guests in an wagon, the fun never ends. Children and adults alike will be mesmerized by our steam tractors, creating a memorable family day out that combines entertainment and learning. Come and join us for an unforgettable STEAM experience at Powerland Heritage Park!
S.T.E.A.M.'d Up for Kids is fun for the entire family! Children of all ages will delight in learning through S.T.E.A.M. activities about Oregon’s rich agricultural heritage. Rain or shine, wear walking shoes and prepare to explore our grounds.

This event showcases the partner museums at Powerland Heritage Park’s 62 acre campus. Attendees will learn about the technology, equipment and innovation that contributed to developing Oregon. Fun for all ages that includes hands on activities, demonstrations, trolley and train rides, and much more!
Powerland Heritage Park is committed to ensuring that future generations have an opportunity to learn and discover the heritage of early day machines and better understand the history of technology upon which modern machines, vehicles and farm equipment are based.
When you attend S.T.E.A.M.’d Up for Kids or Powerland Heritage Park, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction.

Registration Form: Pre-registration is available for vendors at the Swap Meet and in order to be pre-registered you must also pay either by PayPal or submit a check with your registration form. To pay with PayPal, choose from the dropdown the number of swap stalls you’ll need and then mail the registration form to the address listed on the form or email the form to: swapmeet@branch15edgeta.org
Complete the registration form including the payment method and mail to the address on the form. There are two options: 1) pay by check and enclose the check, or 2) use PayPal. Please place in mail by 6/7/2025 to ensure it arrives in time. If registering online, please do so by 5 pm on 6/15/2025.
Vendor Stall fees are $45. If you choose to not pre-register, please complete the registration form and bring it with you to save time during check-in at the gate.

The second weekend of this year’s show will again feature Armed Service Member Appreciation for members of the Military and National Guard. Current and prior service members will be admitted for free on August 2nd & 3rd, 2025 if they show their Military I.D. card. The family members will be required to pay admission.
The second weekend will also again feature a display by members of the Military Vehicle Collectors Club of Oregon.
Admission price is $3 off for Seniors (65 years old and older) on Sunday August 4th!

YES!!! You can still show up. You will need to buy a parking hang tag at the entry gate. $20 per vehicle for the whole event. Bring as many friends as you want. Once inside you can find us at the pre-registration tent and buy a Shirt, Hat, Sticker, Sunglasses, and the Raffle Tickets. We hope you come and have an amazing time enjoying all the museums and meet all the amazing vendors that help put this event on every year. It takes place the last three weekends in October at Powerland Heritage Park in Salem, Oregon.

Includes the Saving Neverland adventure, a pumpkin to decorate, a Kids’ Activity Center, and a wagon being pulled by a Steam Traction Engine as you hunt for skeletons that are wreaking havoc at Powerland Heritage Park!

A magical power crystal that powers Neverland has been stolen by a gnome! You are tasked with traveling on a Pirate Trolley to find the crystal and bring it back to Neverland before the land disappears forever!

School Day is Friday Sept. 27, 2024
Time: 9am - 3pm
Friday will be a school day for the local public schools and homeschoolers to come and learn about our history, we will set up 20 minutes stations. Each group can rotate thru the stations: listen to the presentation and ask questions. Stations are often hands on and interactive, but some are only displays.
The event Coordinator for this event is Keith Menk.
School day admission on Friday is $3 per child, and $5 per chaperone.

Time is at dusk: This is a Night Fire Event – (small fee of $5 at gate to attend. Camps remained closed during event). This is the first time we will be open for the general public to enjoy this special, normally after hours event!! Please be courteous and follow directions, join us during the day time to see the camps. But for this event, we will be firing cannons, and rifles at night, it's a specular show of flame and spark. (Rumor has it we may have a special steam or coal engine guest(s) join us as well.

7am to 11am: Delicious traditional firefighter breakfast – enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee!
11am to 2pm: Explore INSIDE our beautiful building, as well as visit with our partner museums at Powerland Heritage Park (including PNW Truck Museum, Oregon Electric Railroad, and more!)
Marion County Fire 1 will be on-site with their apparatus. They would love to give you a tour!
Ever hear a 100+ year old engine start? Come hear a couple of our old fire trucks roar to life!
