Volunteering: It All Depends on You

“I know when I give my time to Powerland that it helps others have a good experience on campus, but the things I learn while volunteering have been personally valuable on multiple levels - and it just feels good to connect with history by interacting with machinery of the past.”

For 2025: Powerland Heritage Park was voted Gold Status for Best Place to Volunteer in the Willamette Valley. Voted Silver Status for 2024.

Currently Looking for Volunteers

The Antique Powerland Museum Association (APMA) depends on volunteers to maintain a vibrant and successful organization and Powerland Heritage Park campus. We encourage our members/volunteers to get their hands dirty and/or join committees to generate and sustain the enthusiasm, growth, and stability of our team.

There is always plenty to do. The main volunteer work day at Powerland Heritage Park is Tuesday (weather permitting). We meet at 8:30 a.m. to divvy up tasks. Beyond the work, you’ll find coffee brewing and a free lunch compliments of APMA. Expect to meet new friends, too.

When you volunteer, your hard work is rewarded by being able to elect a Volunteer membership status (with a reduced annual APMA membership fee) after 20-plus hours of volunteering in the prior year. Not only when you become a Volunteer member you’ll receive free admission to the grounds for most events.
